 Level 6 Qualifications in Management and Leadership

The Level 6 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed to develop individuals' roles and skills as senior managers, developing their personal management capabilities. These qualifications aim to develop personal management capabilities, make effective use of
information in decision-making, operation and development of skills in managing people.
Progressions
The qualifications provide opportunities for progression to other qualifications at the same or higher levels, which could also be work-based or more academically structured. The qualifications also support learners in meeting the requirements for work and/or employment within all areas of management and leadership at this level.
Award
Learners need to complete any combination of units to a minimum of 7 credits to achieve the qualification.
Certificate
Learners need to complete any combination of units to a minimum of 14 credits to achieve the qualification.
Diploma
Learners need to complete all core units (Group A) and three optional units (Group B) to a total of at least 62 credits to achieve the qualification.

Diploma:
To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership, you need to successfully complete all core units (Group A) and three optional units from Group B to a minimum total of 55 credits.
The Diploma can take between 6 to 12 months.
Entry requirement
Must hold advanced level qualification, or work in a capacity of a middle manager with authority.
