  Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE)

On completion of course you will be able to analyse the information Technology requirements for your company and design, implement the network systems and infrastructure using the Windows platform and server software. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring and troubleshooting networked systems. Also you will be expected to management intranet and internet based on Windows Systems and Microsoft server software.

Microsoft Certified Professional

    • Introduction to Personal computer
    • Introduction to Internet
    • Introduction to Windows
    • Computer Hardware
    • Communication skills for Help Desk personnel
    • Understanding Network Fundamentals
    • Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professionals

This is internally and externally assessed

Course duration: 1 year

MCSE ON WINDOWS SERVER 2003

A total of 7 modules are required to obtain MCSE on Windows Server 2003

    •  Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment (70-290)
    • Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-291)
    • Planning and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-293)
    • Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure (70-294)

One Module on Client Operating Systems

Choose from either of the following Client Operating System Modules
    • TS: Windows 7, Configuring (70-680) (Suggested Module)
    • TS: Configuring Windows Vista Client (70-620)

One Module on Design

    • Designing a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure (70-297)

One Elective Module

    • Designing Security for a Windows Server 2003 Network (70-298)

MCSA ON WINDOWS SERVER 2003

A total of four modules are required to obtain MCSA on windows server 2003

Two core Modules on networking systems

    • Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment (70-290)
    • Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-291)

One Module on Client Operating Systems

Choose from either of the following Client Operating System Modules
    • TS: Windows 7, Configuring (70-680) [Suggested Module]
    • TS: Configuring Windows Vista Client (70-620)

One Elective Module from a list of modules, Suggested Module Listed

    • Implementing and Administering Security in a Windows Server 2003 Network (70-299)

A total of five modules are required to obtain MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Server 2008
Three Core Server 2008 Modules

    • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration (70-640) also count towards MCITP:
      Server Administrator
    • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration (70-642) also count towards MCITP:
      Server Administrator
    • MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration (70-643)

Student will obtain a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) status for passing the exam for each of these modules.

One Elective from three different Modules

    • TS: Windows 7, Configuring (70-680) [Suggested Module]
    • TS: Configuring Windows Vista Client (70-620)
    • MCTS: Business Desktop Deployment (70-624)

One Module on Server 2008

    • Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator (70-647)

Course duration: 3 years without any experience in Networking

Course fee: Ł2900 per year
