   Certified Accounting Technician

This course is structured and examined by ACCA. This course offers students opportunity to further their career to Chartered, MSc in Accounting etc. This therefore means that CAT is a stepping stone for further studies in the profession. CAT is a course that enables you to develop your skills in accountancy for a brighter future.

Entry Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to enrol and no formal academic qualification is needed but your willingness to learn. Like any other professional course at SAN Michael College examinations for this course are held in June and December each year.

Introductory level:

     Recording Financial Transactions
     Information for Management Control

Intermediate level:

     Maintaining Financial Records
     Accounting for Costs

Advanced level:

     Managing People and Systems
     Drafting Financial Statements
     Planning, Control and Performance
     Management

Plus two options from:

     Implementing Audit Procedures
     Preparing Taxation Computation
     Managing Finances

Course duration: 2 years

     Introductory: £3250.00
     Intermediate: £3250.00
